KANO (North-West, Nigeria) — Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has appointed a die-hard supporter of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Al-Amin Albarra as Senior Special Assistant on Publicity.
Albarra, has been a loyal member of the movement for years, working tirelessly towards its success and victory in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Umar Farouk Ibrahim presented the appointment letter to Albarra through his Director (Political) Aminu Wali.
Ibrahim said the appointment was based on merit, citing Albarra’s qualification, patriotic disposition and commitment to the state’s progress and development.
The copy of the appointment letter reads, “the decision to appoint you into this position of public trust is based on your qualification, patriotic disposition and commitment to issues affecting the progress and overall development of the state. I have the conviction that you will bring these attributes to bear in the course of discharging the responsibilities entrusted on you.
“Let me indicate that the job assigned to you requires the qualities of hardwork, honesty, accountability and transparency with a view to attaining the set out objectives. It is my ardent prayer that Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala continue to guide, support and accord you the wisdom to discharge the responsibilities of your office diligently and to the expectation of the administration, Ameen”.
