KADUNA (North-West, Nigeria) — A Kaduna based group, Initiative for Fight Against Drug Abuse and Enlightenment, IFADAE, has said that Kaduna State is gradually witnessing reduction in all forms of crimes such as thuggery and drug abuse.
The group’s State Coordinator, Hafsat Ibrahim Ali made this known while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna.
Hafsat attributed the reduction recorded in the fight against crimes to joint efforts of the sister agencies such as National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Army, Federal Road and Safety, FRSC, Police, Anti-Daba, Fushin kada, Nigeria Immigration Service, Kaduna State Vigilance Service, KADVIS and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
She applauded them for their unwavering commitment and effort to rid the state off crimes.
She also called on youth and women among others on the need to shun abuse of substances and drugs, rape and other related crimes.
The State Coordinator, however, maintained that the group would stop at nothing towards ensuring all social vices are brought to an end in the state.
